Assessments for adults
If you need an assessment to support an application for access arrangements (for example, extra time) in examinations or Access to Work.
If you have ever wondered whether you might be dyslexic, or might have a processing speed or working memory difficulty.
If you would like to discover your academic strengths, weaknesses and potential.
An educational psychology assessment will provide you with answers that you may have been looking for all of your life.
Two types of assessment
We offer two types of assessment for adults:
1. A remote SpLD diagnostic assessment which identifies only specific learning difficulties (SpLD) and is SASC compliant. Brief, verbal feedback is provided at the end of the assessment and a written report follows within 10 working days.
This can be used as evidence for DSA and Access to Work, and to request exam access arrangements (such as extra time) in most UK university and higher education courses and also professional exams.
This assessment is conducted online only.
2. A full cognitive assessment is able to provide all of the above as well as a comprehensive picture of your cognitive profile, including your full scale IQ. An in-depth, post-assessment feedback meeting takes place in which the findings are thoroughly explored and your questions answered. A written report follows within 10 to 15 working days.
It can be used as evidence for all of the above purposes plus for international exams, such as the GMAT and for the Life in the UK test. It can be conducted either in person at our consulting rooms, or online.
If you would like to book a full cognitive assessment, please contact us using the form below or by phone.
